Regular maintenance can make your canvas roof last longer and look like new, prevent costly premature failure, and maintain the value of your vehicle through thorough cleaning and reproofing of the fabric. Having us recolour a faded or stained hood is an easy way to keep your convertible vehicle looking at its very best and save on expensive replacements, whilst cleaning and re-sealing will remove the staining and smells resulting from algae and mould growth. We offer two options, depending on the condition of your roof; If the colour underneath is still strong, we can clean the roof to remove dirt and algae growth, before applying a hydrophobic coating, to prevent damp sitting in the fabric and allowing water to bead off the material, deterring regrowth of mould. For faded colours, we offer a roof recolouring service. Whilst this won't remove pinch and fold marks in the hood, it will restore the colour, before sealing the colour in with a UV protective and anti mould coating. Based on our (quite extensive) experience, we recommend having convertible roofs cleaned and re-proofed every 12-18 months once they reach four years old. Whilst mostly preventative, this will also help maintain the colour and weatherproof qualities, and reduce the need for recolouring, keeping the material looking like new for longer and maintaining it's value. |

Pricing:
Different vehicle model roofs can vary dramatically in size and material and treatment requirements, and have their individual quirks which can make a broad "price from" inaccurate. As guidance though, an average clean and re-proof of a convertible roof would start from £195.00, with recolouring work from around £375. Please bear in mind though this is only guidance and we would love to quote upon inspection for accuracy, so please do call or email us the make and model, along with which options you were interested in to arrange an assessment.
